Queensland X-Ray are proud to announce the formalisation of a longstanding partnership with Queensland Museum. Using our state-of-the-art technology, museum scientists are able to analyse artefacts and once-living organisms to unlock vital information for research projects.
Recent CT scans conducted at our Bowen Hills site have helped reveal the internal structures of these prehistoric creatures, enabling researchers to reconstruct the anatomy and morphology of dinosaurs including their skeletal structure, musculature and internal organs.
Queensland X-Ray Radiologist Dr Thomas Martin said, “while these prehistoric patients might be a little different than what we’re used to, our commitment to producing high quality images on our industry leading equipment remains the same.”
We look forward to our continued work with Queensland Museum Network which will assist in their palaeontology research and developing a greater understanding of their collections.
