About
Dr Arani Halder is an Interventional Radiologist who graduated with an MBBS from Bond University in 2011. After completing his Radiology specialisation in 2019 through the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, he undertook two years of sub-specialist fellowship training in Canada.
He initially completed an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship through the University of Toronto Joint Department Medical Imaging hospital network including Toronto General, Princess Margaret and Mount Sinai Hospitals.
Dr Halder subsequently undertook a second fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology through McGill University health network, including the University Health Centre, Montreal General and the Jewish General Hospitals.
Dr Halder is certified with the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR), which is endorsed by the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA).
He joined Queensland X-Ray as a Consultant Specialist Radiologist in 2021. Dr Halder currently holds an Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor position through Bond University Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine. Through his private and public appointments, he is actively involved in registrar training, research and medical education.
