Queensland X-Ray Welcomes 2025 Graduates!

In January, we celebrated the beginning of an exciting journey for our 2025 Graduate Radiographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists at Queensland X-Ray.

Over 40 graduates participated in a two-day orientation, designed to prepare them for a successful year ahead. This event provided a fantastic opportunity for them to connect with their peers and get to know the cohort they will work alongside throughout the program.

Our one-year Graduate Program provides an invaluable opportunity for recent graduates to learn best practices in patient care and advanced techniques across 50+ Queensland X-Ray practices.

Jason, a Radiographer at Queensland X-Ray, was in their shoes last year and shared some words of wisdom for this year's graduates: “Embrace the experience with a positive attitude. This year will be filled with opportunities to explore various sites, learn new skills, and connect with diverse people. Use this time to discover your interests and shape your future.”

Kyle Austin, HR Manager, said, “It was wonderful for our new starters to come together and meet their fellow graduates at our orientation last month. This year, our graduate radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists will work closely with leaders in medical imaging, allowing them to enhance their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. On behalf of everyone at Queensland X-Ray, we extend a warm welcome to these graduates.”

As we welcome our 2025 graduates to Queensland X-Ray, we look forward to seeing their growth and contributions to the field of medical imaging. Congratulations and welcome to all our new graduates!

The Graduate Program at Queensland X-Ray focuses on professional development and mentorship. Graduates receive dedicated support and gain early exposure to advanced modalities and procedures in their careers. They rotate through different practices, experiencing both community and hospital settings, with the opportunity to work across Queensland, from Cairns to the Gold Coast, including Toowoomba and the Redlands.
