The RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run is an annual event held in Brisbane that brings the community together in support of women affected by breast cancer.
In 2017, our Cleveland team braved the early 5am Sunday morning start to participate!
The event raises funds for research into breast cancer and is a fun, supportive and uplifting experience.
Queensland X-Ray provides vital diagnostic procedures in the fight against breast cancer, so our team were especially proud to wear their #teamQXR shirts!
Hayley McCormick, Chief Radiographer at our Cleveland practice described the team as “small but enthusiastic”.
They participated as a group of 6 (with two ladies, Jess and Rebecca, participating in their first ever fun run) as they took to the course along with 12,000 others.
