PACE Project

Pace Project is a Cairns-based distance running group led by dual Olympian Jill Boltz based in Far North Queensland and aims to nurture, and develop young athletes to be the best they can be in a fun, friendly, positive, family orientated environment.

Pace Project originally started in 2011 with a small group of kids from Trinity Beach State School. Our goal was to get school aged kids to be competitive and to be introduced to the joy of running. We are now a not for profit registered sporting organisation and are very excited to see what the future brings to us. Most athletes meet for regular training sessions in Cairns or Townsville, however the club also has members based across the Peninsula region of FNQ including Weipa.
Through the support of businesses like Queensland X-Ray we have been able to assist athletes achieves their goals including representing Queensland and also Australia at World Junior track and field and Cross Country events.
