The Mini Farm Project who are a charity that transforms under-utilised spaces into productive urban farms. They work in communities that experience high rates of social disadvantage by working with people to grow, eat and sell fresh, healthy, culturally appropriate food. The produce is then donated to local charities who are free to serve it themselves or giveaway in their open pantries.
As part of our #greenQXR initaitve – we provided the MFP with the funds to purchase 250 bags of 6 units of drippers.
This wonderful local initiative has sites in Camp Hill, Woolloongabba and Spring Hill in Brisbane with two larger scale farms in the works!
