Queensland X-Ray is proud to have the opportunity to support staff member Kylie Pitcher (along with her family) to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge, with a goal to ride a huge 400km throughout the month of October to raise money for kids fighting cancer.
Kylie has worked across many areas of Queensland X-Ray over the years and her time with the paediatric team saw her see first-hand some of the devastating effects childhood cancer has on families.
Whilst Kylie is lucky to have healthy children herself, she has seen this isn’t the case for everyone and she wanted to contribute in any way possible to assist other families through this time. Kylie’s family raised $1,790 altogether!
